Reservation request for a study visit

Here you can make your booking request. We need your request at least two months in advance. Please read Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) before you make a booking request.

We will do our best to make a program according to your wishes. The study visit costs 4,000 SEK (excluding VAT).

We will contact you as soon as possible after your request if we have the possibility to accept your visit.

Växjö City Hall and Central Station, is a potentially zero-carbon timber development that combines municipal functions and transport infrastructure under one roof, alongside a new public square and park – accessible to all, 24 hours a day.

Sustainable Växjö (Agenda 2030)

Seminar about the strategic environmental work of Växjö. This seminar includes the background, current work and plans for the future and how Växjö is working with the global sustainable development goals.

Växjö - the modern wooden city

Introduction to Växjö’s urban development in wood, the development of a wood building strategy and its implementation, the cooperation with companies and university. We will also give you some reflections on future developments. The visit can include both strategical and practical aspects, the latter with study visits to some of the high-rise wooden buildings and/or to construction sites in Växjö (mainly to the area Välle Broar).

Lake restoration

Seminar and study visit about restoration of eutrophicated lakes (sludge dredging, vegetation restoration, fish reduction, storm water treatment), inactivation of phosphorus in lake sediment.

The Arena City

Study visit at The Arena City, one of Sweden’s best assembled sport fields. There is access to modern and well-equipped arenas for icehockey, football, floorball, gymnastics and athletics.
